Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE) was founded in 2006 on the cornerstones of quality, innovation and teamwork. GCoE supports the Gallagher team around the globe and around the clock by providing a wide range of services, from back office and administrative services to knowledge intensive and niche services. It's a crucial component of Gallagher's ability to provide industry-leading quality, customer service, regulatory compliance and improved speed to market. We combine functional expertise, industry knowledge and technology with a passion for excellence, to deliver mission-critical services for our global staff.

GCoE delivers seamless services for various divisions of Gallagher, including billing, accounting, risk and compliance, brokerage, insurer and third-party administration. GCoE offers this robust and comprehensive service portfolio through its highly qualified staff members, who have deep expertise in finance and accounting. Underwriting

Underwriting is the very foundation of the insurance industry. Assessing specific risks and fixing a price for accepting these risks is a critical activity. At GCoE, our underwriters have been certified from The Institutes®, U.S., and Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. We work with Gallagher's managing general agents (MGAs) and managing general underwriters (MGUs) in the U.S., UK and Australia to perform underwriting services.

GCoE has the largest number of chartered property casualty underwriters (CPCUs) in India. Each is specialized in underwriting niche businesses in UK, U.S. and Australia. We strive to continuously expand our knowledge and underwriting capabilities, and our vision is to grow this capability exponentially and be a significant contributor to the overall underwriting income of Gallagher.

Analytics

Analytics is at the heart of decision-making. At GCoE, we leverage our proprietary data, use proven techniques and expertise developed over years and help Gallagher with its business expansion and retention goals. Our teams can source, forecast, visualize, model and manage data seamlessly. Over the years, the team has effectively used tools that are a confluence of actuarial science, engineering, meteorology and seismology to build CAT models and p models to enhance decision-making capabilities.

Market research

The market research team at the GCoE supports the sales, marketing and consulting activities for Gallagher by identifying and analyzing market data. We perform end-to-end research, from data gathering to sector reports to consulting. Our market research team has the expertise and in-depth domain knowledge to derive insights and help Gallagher marketing teams across the globe to be better equipped in building their strategies.

Enterprise Risk Management

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team allows Gallagher to effectively manage risk across all aspects of the business. GCoE supports ERM by capturing risk events or circumstances as identified by the business and assesses their likelihood and magnitude of loss. We also help to determine monitoring processes for risk events and to identify response strategies.

Automation

We're tying together human and digital workforces to extract and enter policy information into our internal systems; moving data between software platforms that don't communicate; and performing other heavy administrative work, to get back precious time and refocus employees for a better customer experience — giving Gallagher the edge in a very competitive market.
